WIP #2 - MiG-19 / Shenyang J-6 "Farmer"
About 90% done. Just some small parts left to be modeled, then I'll finish aircraft #3, which happens to be about 60% done already.

WIP - MiG-17 / Shenyang J-5 "Fresco" of the North Vietnamese Air Force.
This is the first of seven jet fighters I am modeling for a blog about the air war phase of the Vietnam War.
Three aircraft will be the Russian/Chinese-made MiGs, and the other four will be their American contemporaries during the war.
I'll post the other 2 WIPs (MiG-19 and MiG-21) later.

Tried out a geometry nodes waves tutorial from Cartesian Caramel with flasks. I lowered the Cycles settings to render it faster, so I might upload a better version in the future with higher light path settings & glass sound effects.

Downloading 3D assets is cool and timesaving, but modeling your own stuff is different kind of entertainment... π οΈ

Just made a cool discover thanks to the /blender3d Guru. Great short/showreel on interior and architecture entirely done in /blender3d with a touch of cinematics. Pretty unique imo:
