Eyes on Terralba 🇮🇹 today… Third round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. Last year, this race had to be cancelled due to extreme weather and this year, despite strong wind alerts in the area, the women’s elite and men’s elite races are going ahead. I’ve been looking forward to this one; even more after seeing the course layout and the current conditions on the ground: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDDTQZwgGVc&t=706s After Nys going 2 out of 2 so far, and currently leading the World Cup; he’s skipping this round. So are several big names in the CX peloton, all choosing to stay focused and fresh for the Christmas block of races. Terralba is being approached with a bit of caution this year. All this only adds to the intrigue: a wide-open race, unpredictable conditions, and a course that looks both fast and treacherous. Can’t wait for the action to start 😋

We continue our explorations to bring to life a full sports kit, completely branded by FLOC* @floc My choice was obvious: it had to be about cycling, road cycling specifically; from the bike itself to every element of the cycling kit. About to watch the men’s elite race live, and from what I’ve seen in the earlier categories today, it’s shaping up like a proper classic cyclo-cross battle in the mud. Today was finally my last ride of the year! 👋 ​This road I'm cycling on right now is the same place where the cherry blossoms explode like popcorn in April... But with December just around the corner, the bare branches are standing alone, weathering the fierce wind. 😢 ​Just as the cherry blossoms have their own season of blooming and falling, the time for season off has finally come for me too. With temperatures expected to drop close to minus 10 degrees Celsius starting next week, today was officially my last pedaling session of the year. ​I accumulated a total of 1,575 km from May until today, but honestly, I'm quite disappointed because it rained too often on the weekends this year. I fell far short of my mileage goal. ​But I'll save the regret for next year! 🌬️ I'm earnestly wishing for the weather fairy to be on my side every weekend next spring, and with that, I'm wrapping up the 2025 cycling season. ​Wishing everyone a safe and warm winter!
