What if you could build a bike from 1,500 possible combinations? Found this little gem today: Velo-O-Mat. velomat.alles-negativ.ch Random frames, wheels, forks, handlebars... so many combinations. I have absolutely no idea what bike I would build… I'm just sure I need a new one cc: @arjantupan @mthch @aptlab @clfx.eth

Got my first cycling crash today… and it was a proper one. I was descending, entering a corner, when my front tire suddenly blew out. I think it was a pinch or something similar. The front wheel disappeared from under me and there was nothing I could do to save it. I barely slid at all, so I hit the asphalt hard, landing directly on my right side. Result: 3 broken ribs and a bike that I think is beyond repair. A real life reminder that things can change in a split second. Check your bike, stay focused, and never underestimate the risks out there. We can never be too careful. Looks like I’ll be off the bike for a while… but I’m already thinking about coming back to finish the route I couldn’t complete on this incomplete ride. Ride safe, everyone!

Eyes off Tour de France 🇫🇷 What a Tour this has been, super fun! Three weeks of relentless racing, delivering the fastest Tour de France ever recorded. Tadej Pogačar was simply on another level, the best rider of this generation, and most likely the greatest of all time. Mads Pedersen turned the green jersey into a daily show, Carapaz reminded everyone why he's one of the most entertaining riders in the peloton, and Del Toro confirmed that cycling's future is already here. Remco has made tremendous progress. If I had to point out something negative... Vingegaard's withdrawal due to his unfortunate crash. And I honestly couldn't think of a better ending than Mathieu van der Poel winning on the Champs-Élysées. It was the perfect finale to a day of celebration and joy, capped off by the impressive climb up Montmartre, where fans of this sport gathered in greater numbers than ever before. All this is what makes this race and this sport so special. See you at La Vuelta! 😉 Photo by Charly Lopez

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 21… Just like that, we're already at the final stage. Today's route had to be changed at the last minute, with part of the original course cancelled as emergency services were redirected to help tackle the wildfires in southern France. We'll get a shorter and more explosive circuit around Montmartre and the Champs-Élysées, which should make the fight for the last stage even more unpredictable for sprinters, classics specialists and puncheurs. I'm sticking with the prediction I made five days ago: I still think Mathieu van der Poel has a great chance of taking today's stage. One last dance... What a Tour it's been! Photo by Getty Images

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 20 live… Sepp Kuss and Richard Carapaz are putting on a real mountain show at the front with 2 falls for the North American. Behind, the GC favourites are still measuring each other, while today’s climb feels much calmer with the stricter crowd restrictions after yesterday’s scenes. The queen stage never disappoints.

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 19 live… Another day with a large breakaway on this tour. After the day’s various climbs, there are still 14 riders at the front of the race, including big names like Kuss, Martinez, Tejada, among others. They’re approaching the base of Alpe d’Huez just in time for the GC group to make a surge and catch them, robbing them of their chance to fight for the stage win. The 21 legendary curves of this climb are about to be tackled in a race for a victory that will go down in history. The crowd goes wild as they wait for all the runners to pass by. Love it! Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 18 live… This Tour keeps delivering. Another demanding day in the Alps, another fierce battle to get into the breakaway. The move has finally gone clear and built a big gap, while the GC contenders are keeping their powder dry behind. UAE, though, keeps losing firepower. Adam Yates is still dealing with a stomach virus, and today Brandon McNulty has been forced to abandon, leaving Pogačar with one less key teammate for the final mountain stages. Every day seems to bring a new storyline in this Tour. As for the stage win, it feels like it should come from the breakaway. Richard Carapaz looks like the standout favourite, but Matteo Jorgenson is also exactly the kind of rider who could make the difference if the climbs get even tougher. Photo by Getty Images

I am biased, but it does look good, doesn't it? 😅 Grimselpass is still on my to-do list of rides to take. Mount Ventoux is in the book!

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 17 live… What a ride from Mads Pedersen! On a stage that feels more like a Spring Classic than a Tour de France, he’s been attacking, chasing, pulling… doing a bit of everything, everywhere. With Simmons and Vacek by his side, LidlTrek has animated the race from the very start. One of best performances of this Tour. Pedersen’s main goal today is clearly the intermediate sprint and extending his lead in the green jersey competition. If he can still fight for the stage after all that work, it would be legendary. On the other hand, Adam Yates is suffering from stomach issues and risking to make it to the final line in time.

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 16 live… The only time trial of this Tour is living up to the expectations. Mattia Cattaneo has spent a long time in the hot seat, but now all eyes are on the big favourites still out on the road. Remco Evenepoel remains the man to beat against the clock, while Pogačar will be looking to limit any losses… or maybe even surprise everyone once again. Photo by Getty Images

Finally - Lacet is in Testflight! Who wants to be a beta tester for my app? You just need Strava for creating your own passport of all the cols that you climbed.

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 15… What a day… It all started last night, with Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard being woken up around 2 am for anti-doping controls. Then came the moment nobody wanted to see. Jonas crashed heavily on the final climb and was forced to abandon the Tour with a fractured collarbone. Up front, Evenepoel played his cards perfectly to take a brilliant stage win ahead of Del Toro and Pogačar, while the GC has been completely reshaped. Three weeks can change a race… sometimes, one day is enough.
