DAO reputation is garbage unless it allows you to do special things, that actually you’d want to do. Some founder one time wanted me to sign an agreement promising to dedicate so many hours to their organization indefinitely and the “exchange” was to be a digital badge that would only be seen inside their digital community. I was laughing too hard inside at the narcissism to feel any anger; though it was insulting. “Bitch are you crazy?!” I wanted to—but didn’t—reply.
