With each passing season, my affinity for this series I created in 2023 continues to grow.
This began as a fashion collection (and still is—I have to wear something on tour) then I developed it into a 2D post photography series that ran skipping into digital collectible packs on @vibemarket
That was the second exposure to my GILFs series—Glitches I’d Like To Finance—the debut of GILFs was curated into NOLCHA’s Miami Art Week events.
It was with great reluctance I stepped away from GILFvision momentarily to pursue more fleeting opportunities with deadlines that grappled for my (only) 2 hands and my attention.
The 3 web experiences I built to grow and house this series were lost overnight in December ⛈️ it had been my intention to move the experiences to sovereign self-contained platforms I controlled as soon as they were dialed in but I got rugged and unserendipitously hadn’t made all my moves in time.
Rebuilding the sequential experiences now, finally.
Can hardly wait to reveal!

Part of really growing up is being honest about who people really are to you. And then making a vow to make enough money to feel secure enough that you don’t care whether or not you have any friends or people to call family. Because at the end of the day wanting to be liked is really just about wanting to stay alive. Sweet old lizard mind, just trying to keep the meat sack safe and warm.
Grow up.
Grow into the void.
Fill it up with your greatness.

Application submissions where the win makes me feel popular ≠ application submissions where the win earns me money like a grant, in addition to professional accolades.
What are you doing it for?
I ask myself each time.
And I have to think carefully each time, sifting the sands of my soul for the answer. Being intentional means, sometimes, sitting out a play or two, or four in service of the greatest outcome for the legacy you/we want to lead with—it’s not a question of whether you’ll be known when you’re good at everything you do; rather WHAT do you want to be known for? Your namebrand legacy thing? Or some other random (but solid) thingy ya also built?

I’ve been so mean, not showing you any of the (digital) ass or fabulous titties I’ve been sketching. 😆 Still dialing in all the elements for this collection of old world but new flesh charcoal nudes collection I iterated on a plane from the desert to Miami to spend some time with my favorite artists.
I thought I was gonna have this thing done a week ago, but it just hasn’t come together in a way that feels finished to me. However it pained me not to enter it into the call for art for NFT Paris, I’m sure it’s all to the good; I didn’t have the branding for the collection ready to my taste. One of the things I love about myself is: I stand by even my earliest works with pride, and the reason I can do that is because I don’t put out anything until it’s truly ready and I really fully love it. That said, here’s an amuse bouche: currently still a WIP…
