Appreciation 08/28/26 Homemade cinnamon rolls - I wanted to make some cinnamon rolls for a potluck this evening and so I ended up making them from scratch. It took some time to make them but I appreciate how they soft and buttery they came out. I’m also not shy about how much cream cheese frosting I put on them haha we don’t eat pastries to be diet conscious! TGIF everyone! Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 798!

Thank you everyone for such kind words of support during this rough patch… Special shout out to the big homie @jolan I’ll definitely take his advice and hug my dogs and feel better about the whole situation. Also he sent me some $USDC which was such a blessing. Feels very Good to know that for every evil person out there in the world there are two or three kind souls left!

Appreciation 08/27/26 Steak 🥩 - I never thought I’d say this but I had the best tasting ribeye steak at a Chinese restaurant tonight. My friends have been raving about the steak at this restaurant and so my bf and I decided to give it a try. I have to say, they were right, this steak was good. I appreciate the char, perfect temperature and texture, and the sauce that was on it was perfect! It also came with garlic confit and potatoes. I will be going back for some steak soon! Appreciation 08/26/26 CNE food - Went to the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto and got to indulge in some really high calorie foods. First off was the Fried Lobster on. Stick with butter and kettle chips and the dessert was the friend S’more with Oreo. I appreciate how the CNE always has such wild novelty food to try but the feeling of indigestion and heart burn was definitely not good! Still, I had a wonderful time! Appreciation 08/25/26 Puff pastry 🥐 - I had some leftover frozen puff pastry in my freezer. My nieces were coming over this evening and so I decided to make their favorite piggies in a blanket and some nutella chocolate swirl pastries. I have to say they came out perfect and you would have never guessed the dough was frozen! I appreciate puff pastry and how it can be used for both savoury and sweet depending what what is used for it. Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 795!

Appreciation 08/24/26 At home golf sim - I visited my friend, who we will say is very well off, and he installed an indoor golf sim in his basement. He ended up getting the Garmin tracker and invested pretty heavily on a really good projector. I appreciate how amazing it is to have a golf sim in your own home and how the technology has gotten so good you can play at home and know that your shots are as accurate as in real life!
