Appreciation 04/25/26 Drinks with coworkers - After an outrageously difficult work week with terrible patients, my schedule coworkers decided to go out for some drinks. I appreciate these ladies so much, they are the most resilient and supportive work friends you could ever ask for. made my first bath salts i used french sea salt and colloidal oatmeal as base and lavender oil for scent then mixed in dried lavender, rose, and chamomile flowers

Appreciation 04/24/26 McDonald’s McDouble - I had a shit day at work today. Got absolutely trashed by some super rude patients. They spat, punched and yelled profanities in my face. I obviously kept my cool but I needed to treat myself. I told myself I would refrain from eating McDonald’s but screw that. I had to indulge in a burger 🍔 and I’m so glad I did! I know it isn’t the healthiest option but I appreciate how quick and easy it is to get and eat and the taste is always the same. This may look like just a lonely burger, but today it was a life line today! Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 672!

Appreciation 04/23/26 Lamb gyudon- I finally had some time to cook and make some healthy food tonight. The menu tonight was Japanese lamb gyudon. It was marinated with dashi, soy sauce and mirin and then cooked in a pan and topped over some rice. I went extra fancy and made a runny egg too! I appreciate how this dish can use different proteins and the result is still a delicious meal! If you’re looking for a quick and easy, gyudon is for you! Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 671!

Appreciation 04/22/26 Garter Snakes 🐍 - I grew up in the country-side in Korea so I don’t have an irrational fear of snakes. I actually appreciate how pretty they are and how well they do in controlling pests like mice and rats that often get at food. This fellow was quite large considering spring just started, so he must’ve been eating well! I love how they have unique patterns and they are able to wiggle to get around and even climb trees. Such a fun thing to see while going on a small hike! Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 670!

Appreciation 04/21/26 Cute Japanese baked goods - So after recently seeing @pichi cast about her two super cute pastries I decided to visit my local Japanese bakery. I manage to find this super cute pastry that has a toasted picture of a bear. I appreciate how Japanese baked goods, often not only look super cute, but they taste so good! The flavour combinations for the filling in this particular one was red bean and walnut. The pastry itself was super Doughy and soft, it was like biting into a pillow!
