Appreciation 06/27/26 Cottage with friends - It’s cottage weekend this weekend! I appreciate my friends for organizing a cottage getaway in Muskoka! Appreciation 06/26/26 Baked goods at work - We had our weekly team baked good potluck and although I didn’t take a pic when the table was full, I manage to remember to take a pic when there was still some food on the table. I appreciate my coworkers for bringing in baked goods weekly for all to share. A lot of chocolate chips in the baked goods, and I’m a huge fan of them! My favourite were the brown butter chocolate chip cookies! Yum! 😋 Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 734!

Appreciation 06/25/26 New cafe cortado - A new cafe opened up near my work. It was a little further than then one we usually go to but it was so worth it. I ordered the cortado and I have to say this was probably the best one I’ve had in recent memory. The coffee was smooth, the milk/froth was perfect and the temperature was hot and the design the barista created was beautiful! I appreciate this work of art in a cup and I made sure to let the barista know what an amazing job they did! Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 733!

Appreciation 06/24/26 FIFA Fanfest - Had the opportunity to attend FIFA fanfest for work. The event was so well done, the fields were wide enough for people to have space and the screens were a decent size for people to view the games. I appreciate the hard work that went into building this entertainment structure to view FIFA. The only draw back I can see is that food is over $20 for a hot dog or sandwich and alcoholic beverages are also over $20. Other than that the people that attended were actually very well behaved. Might have something to do with the expensive booze haha Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 732!

Appreciation 06/23/26 Cool Birthday cakes 🎂 - It was a team members birthday today and someone brought in this really cool birthday cake! I appreciate the wonderful colours but more so the pleasant surprise is skittles inside! The texture of the cake and candy were a little bit weird but the look of it and taste were decent! Appreciation 06/22/26 Asian snacks - my coworker came back from the Asian grocery store and she picked up these super addictive crackers. I appreciate how there are so many different types of snacks with different flavour combinations. This one is particular was a sunflower cracker with creamy mango filling and I think these are from the Philippines. I ate about 6 of them and I feel guilty but it was totally worth it haha Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 730!

Appreciation 06/21/26 Happy Father’s Day everyone - I lost my dad when I was 9 years old and every Father’s Day I often have very foggy memories of him and try to think about what kind of person he was. A very fleeting memory of him is when he would take me and sister out for poutines, and so, almost every Father’s Day, my sister and I go out for poutines and today was no different. An added bonus was that World Cup soccer was on too! A sport my dad also loved to watch! Appreciate your dads, call them and tell them that you love them. Happy Father’s Day everyone!
