Anyone else having major scrolling issues on FC after the 8.5 update? I'm down to like 30Hz and I've tried everything!

I'm amazed the QR-reader situation on Android is still such a shit show.
Include a QR-reader app by default on the phone you publish, give it a QR app icon and put it on the main screen.
Anything else will not work for older people.
Don't defer QR reading to the cam app putting a small URL icon at the bottom.
Thanks: someone who had to delete three QR-reader apps from my mom's phone AND a "messages" app that wanted to become the default SMS-app and that plastered ads all over the phone.

I do like the choices they made for these widgets on Nothing OS...
...but it's time to flash this to a privacy focused OS now that I have given this a good test drive using the stock software.
Let the de-googling commence!

It's Sep 15 and there's no Sep security update available yet which is weird because they're usually published close to the 5th of each month.
Also I had to keep refreshing today in order to get the August update.

If this happens Android is dead to me.
Essentially this is Google telegraphing that they want to remove side-loading apps entirely. And as I've been degoogling my life, I would have no reason to stay on Android anymore if this were to occur.

Oh, my kingdom to unset this globally for all apps. Such a pain in the ass for when one really needs a rarely used app to do its job right now.
(travel apps for example, or ID stuff)

Now that I have GrapheneOS on my backup phone again I can use SwiftKey again, because GOS can disable network access for the app.
It's really the only keyboard with flow typing that does multiple languages at once well.
