An espresso machine in the dugout and not taking themselves too seriously.
Design wise, it could be better but it is as representative as it gets.

Watched Hook with my daughter tonight and noticed the pillbox Pirates hats.
The movie came out in 1991, and I thought it was odd because the Pirates only wore these from 1976-1986. Then I found out that was a throwback in celebration of the National League centennial (1876).
The Golden Age of Piracy was roughly 1650 to 1730 — 200 years before the NL was founded — and it’s safe to assume Hook takes place in that period.
Which is to say that the uniforms in the movie are actually a Turn Ahead the Clock to a throwback of a throwback of a throwback.

A few in the men’s downhill have worn these highlighters today
They make a statement, a stark, simple statement against the white in an discipline where you don’t usually notice the top.
