"For those who don't know, the scrambled dog is a Columbus, Georgia institution. A hot dog and bun submerged in chili, chopped up, and loaded with cheese, onions, pickles, and oyster crackers. The dish has been served at Dinglewood Pharmacy since the 1940s. Presidents have eaten them. Prince Charles had one served on a silver plate. It's a Columbus GA food staple, every hot spot has their version." This is the epitome of minor league baseball branding.

Just look at this logo An espresso machine in the dugout and not taking themselves too seriously. Design wise, it could be better but it is as representative as it gets.

Watched Hook with my daughter tonight and noticed the pillbox Pirates hats. The movie came out in 1991, and I thought it was odd because the Pirates only wore these from 1976-1986. Then I found out that was a throwback in celebration of the National League centennial (1876). The Golden Age of Piracy was roughly 1650 to 1730 — 200 years before the NL was founded — and it’s safe to assume Hook takes place in that period. Which is to say that the uniforms in the movie are actually a Turn Ahead the Clock to a throwback of a throwback of a throwback.

The Milano Cortina wordmark & lockup hit so well. Modern, balanced, evoking alpine slopes. Easily belongs everywhere.

Just now seeing the Coastal Carolina basketball court for the first time. The shade of blue, huge white logo…it’s a lot but it works.
