Biggest Evermark news today:
Iām getting to do a project for credit in school on what I think of as the scrolling media problem.
As we scroll, we see content once and enjoy it and carry its meaning forward with us, but often times we are cutoff from the source of it. Search can be difficult, so unless youāve shared it somehow, you might never find the content you want again.
This is an ergonomic cognitive problem - it involves a memory trace that canāt reactivate. Iām hoping to do some real psychological research into this pain point and then try my hand at designing a streamlined solution for Evermarkās benefit.
If it works, we all get a sweet new tool for our online toolbox - immutable, searchable, valuable memory systems with intuitive high quality user experience and financial rails for everyoneās benefit.
Honestly I set out to build this thing in a weekend, whenever that was, but it feels good despite the lag because it goes deeper and deeper toward the problem. Weāll see a ecosystem begin to form here once the problem/solution becomes clear enough. Very happy to have a (mostly) functional tech stack to build on here, buckle up fam. 0 reply
