A year ago I won the Marc Jacobs tote bag contest just to be ghosted. There were supposed to be 6 winners that won a spot to be a “model” in a Marc Jacobs campaign photoshoot. They never gave me the date and kept saying “details coming soon” (after 2 follow ups). Then after the third follow up (mind you there’s weeks in between these follow ups) just no response. Followed up a couple more times after that…nothing. I understand brands pivot and marketing plans don’t always pan out but at least have the decency to tell your contest winners that instead of ghosting them. Because the other “prize” was a trip to NYC so I can imagine what a bummer that must have been for other winners that don’t already live in NY like I do. anyway still love what the brand is doing but wish it could’ve gone differently.
