barcelona/munich and now madrid, clay szn is so much easier to watch to the eye for tennis, longer rallys in general, spin and angles easier to produce, easier to get to otherwise, still prefer to play on hard

Your body will last longer on clay. Hard is too hard on joints

yes i agree, played my first “competitive” match in a few years a few weeks ago in hard court, broke 2 ligaments in my right ankle. it was a local 1st div tournament, and the movement itself didnt had to do anything with the hard court, but i guess it kind of happen because i was trying to be agressive on a shot that otherwise in clay court would have been more conservative. nevertheless, i also had issues in clay specially with uneven lines in the surface, but in general it is easier on the body
