why do you think people nerdy about things should join farcaster? does this feeling extend beyond crypto for you? what's special about farcaster mini app games for new users vs games on the app store?

my favorite content here, maybe in general, is from people who delve into their niche. this definitely extends beyond crypto, but can include it. fc mini apps > nyt games, for ex., bc of social context

what's the incentive for someone you know to start talking about a niche that they're interested in on here? i agree social context makes games better - do you play the games with the people you onboard?

im still working on onboarding a few academic friends. havent successfully yet. but i imagine the incentive will be, ironically, "finding their tribe", or at least their audience. was waiting for channels to evolve but think the overall app ux is ready for non techies. ive onboarded one friend for miniword and framedl. we dont play 'together', but its fun to be able to share scores

wdym by "working on onboarding" – have you asked them to and they haven't? i think the "find your tribe" messaging is really attractive, but haven't seen efforts to replicate the early community that became a tribe. wish merkle would spend more resources on finding a way to make that work vs becoming tiktok how is farcaster better for those NYT games if you're just sharing scores anyway like you could do anywhere else? :)
