if I opened up hifi components (amps, preamps, DACs, etc.), photographed the internals, and explained their circuits, would any of you nerds be interested?

I really shouldn’t but I have found an exceedingly rare DAC from 1995 that I want to restore and hotrod.

please talk me out of it so that I don’t need to learn how to solder.

soldering is cool tho. good post-apocalyptic skill

haha yeah, just really high stakes when working on audio gear. would be cool to learn though.
