It took me a while to realize that how people treat me often has nothing to do with me. People are carrying battles I can’t see and I had to stop taking it personal. Instead of reacting, I had to learn to respond. With grace. With maturity. With peace. Because truthfully? Fighting fire with fire just burns me out. Some people don’t need a reaction — they need a prayer. And I’m learning to give both wisely.
