Three years ago, I bought this watch. It was not the fanciest, but it felt right.
Iāve always loved wristwatches. They donāt just tell time, they pull my whole look together.
This one fit perfectly, had a rubber strap for my tiny wrist, and even showed the date.
The funny thing is, people here wear watches for style. So theyāre shocked when I actually know the time.
Its battery died a few times and I always replaced it.
A dead watch feels wrong to me because Itās more than fashion, itās function.
But recently, the control button snapped off and just like that, it stopped working.
Now I go out bare-wristed. It feels... off. Like somethingās missing.
Iām looking to get a digital one next, something sleek, maybe fitness-friendly too.
My wrist watch was more than an accessory to me.
This old watch may be done, but itāll always be a part of my story. 2 replies
