permit me to be vulnerable okay? my parents are currently in the process of a messy divorce and it’s really terrible for my siblings and i. it’s been going on for almost a decade and i still don’t know how to feel about it. i literally haven’t been around my parents for years now and as i’m growing older it’s becoming hard to ignore the reality. so i’m asking for people with dysfunctional families like mine, how did you carry on? cos i can’t even cry or laugh. i’m completely stoic about it and it worries me that i can’t give the situation an emotion.

Honestly,I picked a side and that’s because I grew up with one of them. If you can’t pick a side probably because it’s hard to do that due to the situation that’s leading to the divorce, just let things be. I know it’s hard on you but you shouldn’t be the one carrying such burden. And yes, stay stoic. Sending you lots of love and warm hugs🫂.

I actually grew up alone with just my mum, so it was easier to stick to a side cos the other party didn’t care. I don’t know how you’re having it from your end.
