Doing some bumps on a Saturday night Comparing this osetra caviar with a kaluga hybrid. Both Abby and I preferred the more mild and buttery taste of the kaluga on its own but the osetra had a nice brininess that can stand up to bolder pairings. Bought these bad boys at the newly opened Tashkent Supermarket in the West Village of NYC (which is very good and deserves its own post). They were ~$50 each for a 2 ounce jar which is a pretty good deal for the quality. Not as good as my go-to spot in Brighton Beach but super reasonable for the middle of downtown Manhattan.

Honestly pretty affordable if you split it with a few friends! All of the accoutrements are pretty cheap: potato chips, creme fraiche (sour cream works fine or even butter), chives, eggs. Highly recommend!
