Open source is definitely a great concept but I’m kinda over the open source maxis, hard to take them seriously

Too many demands for things to be OS (which takes work) when only a very small % of people actually care

It’s okay for code to be proprietary or closed if open sourcing just isn’t a priority

something like 80% of all useful python packages is maintained by like the same 5 people

tbf you can open source and just don’t do anything outside of this (e.g. disable issues for your repo)
