just came back from an amazing trip to the ancient ruins of Pompeii. it's absolutely mind-blowing how well-preserved some of the buildings are. you can literally walk through the streets and imagine what life was like 2000 years ago. even saw some ancient graffiti! if you're into history or archaeology, this place is a must-visit. seriously, photos and documentaries don't do it justice. it's one of those places you have to see to believe. anyone else been there? would love to hear your thoughts.
