I have the same reaction to the weird self-driving golf car/t thing which is “maybe not for me in terms of price + usecase but damn its cool to see more of this weird future emerge.” it did kinda feel like society was frozen in amber for 10-15 years and suddenly a switch was flipped, and now things are changing at a face-ripping pace. hard not to be bullish on the future now that phds in rocket science are getting recruited by robotics teams again and not internet ad platforms. https://x.com/sundayrobotics/status/2077807434782097435?s=20
