Couldn't get through Mountainhead. rage quit from cringe 1/3 of the way in. 

Might try again tonight out of morbid curiosity for where this goes. At the very least, it's fascinating to see who Hollywood thinks is creating AI/tech and what problems they are responsible for.

Woof, such a bummer. Idk what it was about Succession format that worked for Armstrong & Co (Peepshow also an all-timer) but found The Menu similarly cringe and the Mountainhead trailer did nothing for me.

I was gonna give it a shot but WoM from friends has been savage.

Its biggest problem is that its satire with zero nuance.

Its shot really well, and the acting is really good, but boy is all the fucking nuance sucked clean out of it, its so heavyhanded

had no idea he directed Peep Show! I love Peep Show. I think he just gets over his skis when he's doing more of a satire comedy. Succession had so many moments that were genuinely funny but the drama kept it together because all the characters were believable. Mountainhead feels like double dipping.
