It takes all kinds to make a world. When you live in a village like mine, you learn eventually that even the people we bristle at have their place in the little cosmos of the village, and that they also do their part in giving the village its character. My village is a little sawmill village in the deeply forested expanses of northern Sweden, where life is slow and most people have lived here all their lives.
