+against i think esports as a whole is a net negative for society, infantilizes adults, distracts from real issues. we need more kids romanticizing civil engineering than playing video games. the world needs more beauty, don’t think esports facilitates that. certainly a minority opinion

+for I think the super smash bros. melee scene is a huge opportunity complete with a dedicated fan base. IRL events are the perfect way for Nouns Esports to grow into a “legacy brand” in the space.

+for Having been in esports and a big fan of melee, it's been hard to see the scene struggle with sponsors and capital. This prop is mutually beneficial - blockchain presence and promotion to this grassroots community will bolster awareness and introducing Nounish lifestyle merch will surely be supported by smashers!

+for Watching the roster over the past few months has been enlightening when I had 0 exposure to FGC. The community is super dedicated and MoM growth on the roster we picked up has looked great. I am interested in seeing how onchain governance can supplement these events as we rollout the esports platform
