More generally, all photo, video, etc. will be hashed and cryptographically signed by the source. These will be added to the file's metadata.

For a photo posted on social media, the app will automatically verify that the photo is unaltered (hash) and from the stated source (signature).

Quilibrium is quite complex from a technical perspective. I get the general idea and the components, but can't envision the system as a whole in my mind yet.

I'm not capable of building a full stack application on it, but the scheme I described could "easily" be integrated into mobile devices and a social media apps.
