This is the FIFA World Cup Trophy, designed by Italian artist Silvio Gazzaniga in 1971. Crafted from 18-carat gold, it features two human figures lifting the Earth, symbolizing victory and unity. The contrast between the smooth globe and textured base creates visual depth and movement. For me as a designers, it’s a masterclass in symbolism, material storytelling, and form-driven emotion.
