Looking more abstractly at standards, I actually think pseudonymity and crypto play a big part in the fallout compared to the other cases you give.

A "trusted social memecoin launcher" is built on the community's trust in the creator. That creator's reputation/history is a material factor in how people relate to it and invest in it. Not disclosing such material info is bad.
