Bannon is wrong. The ceasefire wasn’t just to save Israel but also to replenish America’s most advanced forward base in the region. The managed conflict was supposed to lead to a different outcome but a few retaliatory surprises changed the game.

It is a ceasefire agreement. Iran has made a big concession this time. After the military leaders and nuclear scientists were repeatedly "targeted and eliminated" and the three major nuclear facilities were bombed by the US military, Iran, which suffered huge losses, still chose a conditional ceasefire. If we observe the several rounds of conflicts between Iran and Israel in the past few years, it is not difficult to find that neither side is willing to be the first to stop. Because as long as they stop, the other side can declare "victory", and it is difficult to give an explanation to domestic public opinion at the same time - to put it bluntly, it is like a fight between children. But this time is different. Iran said, "As long as the ceasefire is before 4 a.m. on the 24th, Iran has no intention of counterattacking after that." The implication is "I have fought all I should fight, and I have fought enough. You Israel can fight until 3:59 a.m., but I will not retaliate for it."

A missile hit a residential building in the southern Israel city of Beer Sheva, according to Israeli authorities. Firefighters are currently working to search the area, Shiral Ben David, a spokesperson for Israel Fire and Rescue said Tuesday morning local time. Photos from the scene shared by Israel’s emergency services, Magen David Adom (MDA) showed debris at the scene and emergency services responding to the explosion. Earlier, a video filmed by a CNN producer in Jerusalem showed several rockets flying through the sky as sirens sounded across the country and the military warned of a new wave of missiles launched from Iran.
