Orval Overall one of the great Cubs starters from their halcyon days. TH]his was the famous "Tinker to Evers to Chance" Cubs team, known for its great infield defense, which regularly won 100 games. Amazingly, Orval Overall wasn't the Cubs best pitcher that year. Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown had a 10.4 WAR that season! Now $DAT is a pitching season. Check out Orval Overall (1909 CHN). He had a 1.42 ERA with 205 strikeouts in 285 IP - 9.1 Player Value on DatabaseBall! 🏆⚾
