Finished this book by Anne Goldgar and didn't realize Tulipmania as we know it was mostly untrue? Or at least the interpretations we get from Madness of Crowds Reminds me of when NFTs went crazy in 2021. Plenty of think-pieces but in reality, volume was driven by a small cohort of individuals
