There’s a strange current moving through me. I feel myself slowly releasing the grip, the attachment to this beautiful city, even as I gather images that speak of the deep love and connection I still hold for it.
Healing, I’m beginning to understand, is simply the courage to feel it all - the beauty and the ache - without turning away.
This time, I’m photographing myself through the faces of many. I see fragments of me in all of them, and I hope, somehow, they see themselves in me too. That, perhaps, is what belonging truly means.
