Geopolitics

Americans do need jobs, but not jobs in fading industries.  They need jobs in futuristic industries that will be in demand for generations to come.  

Note:  all that air pollution coming down into the U.S. from the Canadian fires, will seem like nothing conpared to the air, water, and soil pollution that will be created by  20th century industries in coal and oil production, chemical plants, and other major polluters.  Profits over people, their health, and the environments they live in.
