you never really know what the next moment brings you plan, you prepare, you try to line things up just right. and then life shows up with its own idea of timing a message out of nowhere/a chance/a meeting. something ends that you thought would last. something begins that you never saw coming people think there’s some point where it all clicks/maybe a spark. where things get easier, where the path smooths out. but most of the time, it doesn’t. it just keeps moving. faster, slower, sideways. sometimes beautiful. sometimes brutal it’s not about knowing what’s next. it’s about being ready to meet it so if things feel unclear, that’s fine. if the path feels messy, that’s normal. if nothing’s going according to plan, maybe the plan needs to loosen because the truth is, the best parts of life usually don’t arrive on schedule and the people who learn to stay open are the ones who end up somewhere better than they expected

Practicing being radically aware of who is in the driver’s seat of your life at every moment vs slipping into unconscious autopilot is one of the most important exercises you’ll do for yourself and others.'
