Honestly I bet they’re just mad it’s gotten so confusing trying to replenish their prison labor!

I hate being here, honestly hemp was the only decent thing we had going for us and now that Trump’s in office these autocratic dotards are seizing on the opportunity…

There are jails and prisons across the entire United States with horrible inhumane conditions. That's fine if you want to throw rapists and child molesters into an environment like that, but the problem is people who commit victimless "crimes" such as drug possession are being locked in these nightmarish places with the rapists and murderers. 

The situation at Rikers is especially egregious, since when you are in a jail rather than a prison you often haven't been convicted, just charged. Being considered innocent until proven guilty is supposed to be a fundamental concept of the American justice system. People should be treated humanely if you don't even know if they are guilty yet.

If you haven't hurt anybody, we shouldn't be hurting you. What a concept, one that should of been learned in preschool but that the thugs who refer to themselves as "the government" can't seem to grasp.
