This week I built….. 💙 Shared my ideas for Baselocal with two friends who got interested and became co-founders. “Baselocal is a base initiative using biweekly market outreach and rural meetups to onboard the underserved on Base” 💙Called for volunteers to help make the foot work in Abeokuta and Lagos easy 💙Had training sessions with them to onboard them for the work ahead 💙Oversaw their daily wakabout to see that they do the physical work of inviting the locals to our biweekly meetups 💙Officially held the first edition of Baselocal’s market outreach and rural meetup 💙Using base sepolia we assisted over 30 people to make their first wallet interaction on Base at the market outreach. 💙Using USDC and base sepolia, we assisted over 25 participants to make their first decentralized interaction at the rural meetups in Lagos and Abeokuta
