VVAP is a system where veVIRTUAL holders (i.e., $VIRTUAL stakers) can vote to determine how a significant portion of daily points are distributed across projects on the Virtuals Protocol. How It Works: The Core Loop 🗳️ Vote with veVIRTUAL: As a veVIRTUAL holder, you cast votes for the projects you believe have the most long-term potential. 📊 Allocate the Pool: 10% of the total daily point supply is set aside for this voting-driven allocation. 📈 Proportional Distribution: Projects receive a share of this 10% pool that is directly proportional to the percentage of votes they received. If Project A gets 30% of the total votes, it is eligible for 30% of the VVAP allocation. 🎁 Reward the Stakers: These points are then distributed on a daily basis to everyone staking on that winning project, pro-rata to their individual staking amount. Your conviction in a project directly benefits you and its other supporters. The Epoch System: A Continuous 7-Day Cycle Voting isn't a one-time event. It follows a continuous 7-day rolling cycle: • Week 1 (Voting Period): A voting session lasts for 7 days, during which all veVIRTUAL holders can cast or change their votes. • Week 2 (Distribution Period): Once the voting period ends, the results are locked. These results determine the VVAP distribution for the next 7 days. • Continuous Cycle: A new voting session begins immediately as the old one concludes, ensuring the community's voice is always current.
