Introducing @bribe literally put blood, sweat, tears, magic and weed into this mini-app. I hope you guys like it!! YOU CAN FINALLY SEND AUDIO MESSAGES ON FARCASTER - with a twist! It allows you to send bribes as audio messages to anyone on Farcaster, and if they listen to it on time, they get to claim the $bribe you sent them!! wow voice messages. that's a new design space with exciting opportunities. but it also requires behaviour change. can you share any more details behind the 'so what' or why behind this mini-app?

man.. honestly.. I have a love and hate relationship with voice messages.. and I know that others too.. and sometimes when I was doing speech to teext wasn't working properly ... and then if I wanted to send a voice message to someone I would have to ask their Telegram... or other media or whatever... and farcaster has this amazing social graph so why not eh... and then I was like hmmm but I would like to pay people for their time, for listening to me... and that's how it turned out to be haha

nice one. thanks for sharing. I guess there is no way to speed up a message more than 1.5x so listeners can't farm their rewards?

Nooope there isn’t hahah. They HAVE to listen… I mean… they could theoretically click play and run to the next room.. but no way or desire to enforce that really hahaha

love it. can you gamefy an instant response for more rewards? that way the mini-app would catalyse more 1:1 ping pongs via audio that can add so much more context to text

dream feature: response time from 1 min to 1 hour (set by user) and showing like a bonding curve. the faster I listen, the more $BRIBE unlocks same for response, but as multiple bc the behaviour change you really want is the executed call to action, no?

Would also want to be able to opt-in for notifications potentially from certain users? Definitely good to get notifications when you get a new $bribe coming in, and could imagine people being interested potentially in a notification at a certain time prior to a Bribe expiring too

right now you get a notification when you get a bribe, and 1 hour and also 15 minutes before it expires! working on a bot now.. lmao

Ah! I had two issues. 1) Needed to turn on notifications 2) Needed to receive Bribes 🤣 PS interesting mechanism once you've got group sending out, you could use sending out mass announcements via bribes which would in effect be you doing Airdrops to your active user base... Track what is claimed and what isn't. What isn't claimed and you get back, can go into your Empire Treasury for rewards distro to top users/etc etc Also could see an Empire API Leaderboard pulling from your upper leaderboards that you could use to distro special Bribe Reward NFTs that are boosters... special acknowledgements etc If people floor some of them, you can buy them and also raffle them off or we can figure out other fun things with them
