The project is built and developed by former members of Jump Trading LLC with the goal of making Monad a secure, fast transaction processing, and low-cost EVM Layer 1 blockchain. Recognizing the limitations of Sequential Execution from previous blockchains, Monad has developed a Parallel Execution mechanism, while still maintaining high compatibility with EVM. Parallel Execution allows Monad to classify independent transactions and process them simultaneously in an efficient manner.
