Buying a new MacBook this week. 

Def doing M4. Was thinking 32 gb ram, 512 ssd should be more than enough 

Does anyone have strong opinions on the air vs pro? 

My current one is a pro I bought 6 years ago. Seems like there’s a “lightweight / aesthetic” argument to the air which might be worth thinking about

Honestly better value compared to the base Mac Pro. I do a lot of photoshop (product editing) and video editing (tiktoks) and it works speedy with an external monitor. Sure the screen isn’t as good and there aren’t as many ports but I’m not paying an extra $800 to replace some $20 dongle lol

Ok also random hack you can pick Mac for education and get a $50-100 discount. Just make sure you get it delivered to your apt, if you place for pickup they’ll ask for a student ID And email

I lied it’s a $300 difference for the same specs on the pro. Meh I mean.. I still want to save money lol
