As someone who didn't know much about network states, I enjoyed going through the talks from this year's conference! The epiphany for me was framing the network state concept less as "starting a country" and more so as a futuristic Hanseatic League - distributed network of cities around the world that cooperate with each other. And the second point was one made by @vitalik.eth & Janine Leger on needing to dial in on popup experimentation. Imo, they're essentially "network state proof of concepts" and the next step after establishing online communities. Popups will help test out new coordination, governance, & identity mechanisms. The more popups we try, the more we learn - so it's essential the infra to spring these up (i.e. Prospera) grows in parallel. Government, Real Estate, etc. as-a-service...
