Good day, everyone! I hope you’re all having a fantastic day. I’ll be available in the /success channel for the next three hours, until 3 pm EST, to answer any questions you may have. I’m an experienced artist working across various mediums, currently focusing on animation and music production. I’ve been a member of Warpcast for nearly two years, joining as an early adopter, and began minting my artwork in 2021. Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to work with organizations such as Shell, the United Nations, and various consulting firms. At present, I am an audio engineer at a theatre, while also fully engaged in the creative community. I’ve been with /success since its inception and truly value the determination shared here. It’s inspiring to see everyone not only striving for their own success but also contributing to our collective growth.

Hi dude! 🤘 I've seen quite a bit of your work, and something that surprised me some time ago was noticing that you use AE as one of your reference tools, I suppose supported by something like Trapcode or similar (correct me if I'm wrong), when I would have sworn that almost everything was done with TouchDesigner. The main question is, what's your starting point? Do you create the music first with a visual in mind and then work on that part, or is it the other way around, or do you do everything at the same time? The other question is, have you ever felt limited in terms of what you wanted to create, where the software you use didn’t allow you to achieve it? Thanks in advance! 🖤

hey dude!! what an amazing question!! and good observation. I absolutely love After Effects and Trapcode. Particles are definitely my jam, but I don't exclusively work in AE, I do lots of Touch Designer, C4D and some Houdini too. Some work is a combination of all of them. My main starting point is usually a meditation or a feeling I have or I want to be recreating a moment and how I was feeling at that moment or something. And when I'm creating the visual, I already have that feeling in mind, so I'm already thinking about what instruments I want the music to have tentatively, like strings, electronic, drum heavy or something, and then I make the music when the visuals are almost done, and sometimes I sync the beat to the visuals, and sometimes I don't sync them and keep them that way depending on how lazy I am haha that day
