According to 10x Research, over the past year, large holders, or Bitcoin whales, have offloaded more than 500,000 Bitcoin—worth over $50 billion at current prices. Meanwhile, ETFs, treasury companies, and other institutions combined have absorbed nearly 900,000 coins in the past year. These entities now hold about 4.8 million coins out of approximately 20 million Bitcoin in circulation
