"How to Earn Towns/Beaver Points"
Towns points are a way to reward active members of the Towns community. Most rewards are distributed when the protocol generates fees—this means the more the protocol earns, the more rewards are allocated. Additionally, users can earn points by purchasing memberships, tipping, daily check-ins, and participating in specific Towns.
1️⃣ Earn Points by Joining Towns
When you purchase a membership, you earn points based on the price paid.
Note: All membership fees incur a 10% protocol fee.
⚠️Every 0.01 ETH spent earns 2,000 points
Additionally, when someone purchases a membership in a specific Town, the owner of that Town also earns points.
2️⃣ Earn Points by Tipping
When you tip others with ETH, you also earn points. The number of points depends on the tipped ETH amount:
Note: All tips incur a 0.25% protocol fee.
Formula: 3333 * Tip Amount (ETH)
Example Calculation:
Tipping 0.01 ETH earns 33.33 points (3333 * 0.01)
Tipping 0.05 ETH earns 166.65 points (3333 * 0.05) 0 reply
