i'm using more new apps than ever before, but having fewer app experiences that spark joy software as content feels soulless - unsure if this will change

I agree and try to be aware of shinny object syndrome personally, even more so now that AI has made software = content. I set a high friction to change voluntarily / if it works don’t fix it mentality. Kind of bringing to software the mentality I started a few years back when I stopped buying every new iPhone.
