There’s no way testnet tokens != mainnet tokens or they’ll have some kind of ratio Would you be joining the contest?

Okay but then why does the op suggest that testnet monad should be used as an incentive to be distributed? Wouldn't devs be better off just hoarding it then?

Yes they would, but me thinks it’ll be better for the devs long term to not hoard because of the usage of the apps might go into play too and not only amount of tokens, which usage will increase with more incentive to play.

this is all possibly true, but this seems incredibly fucked up incentive / speculation-wise: "hey app devs, we'll give you fake tokens (worth nothin! but maybe...something!!!) and you should give them away! to your users! so that you can earn another maybe something!"

I think of it like this Small time app devs that are still coming up get to have this userbase and attention they won’t get anywhere else on this scale plus a price pool of Mon (worth nothing! But maybe something!!!) Then if it’s a big time dev then yes definitely the incentives are fucked up because, it’s wasting time to be used to be able to make something more useful but this will be easy as big time dev too because you already used to coding and know what people like, to summarize what I’m saying is, the incentives for contest are for small time up and coming devs to test their skills or test the water, for big time dev, def waste of time.
