I stopped giving back my gains when I implemented a simple "this place is boring if ur losing" rule for my main trading accounts. 

If I lose anything material ($5-10k and higher), I walk away for a sec and have to pull out some $ to my IRA or savings acct

mostly this means I trade less frequently, and hold onto my wins with greater frequency 

I still lose but not as much, and brother that feels like such a win. Don't optimize for 1000 blind trades, 99% of my profit from the past 2 years came from literally two trades, one $clanker buy and one well sized $coin call option move this summer. The rest was a wash. I'm so dumb for trading daily and so are you
