Babylon Genesis Chain uses both EVM and CosmWasm. CosmWasm (live on mainnet) handles secure, fast Bitcoin smart contracts. It's built with Rust, which works well with Bitcoin core. EVM (coming soon) brings popular DeFi tools and a big dev community. Testnet is up now, with public endpoints launching later. Mainnet EVM integration is set for late Q3 to early Q4 2025.
