the only incentive more powerful than money is the need to justify your existence.

absolutely toxic but i think you make some pretty cool things in the end.

i genuinely thought about this in the back of my head all day and feel like instead of justifying existence (proving worth feels bad/externally driven) i am much more motivated by honoring it (growth is good/internally validated) 

two feet on the ground and a desire to grow both myself/others and leave things better than i found em is enough proof for me that im supposed to be here. that said, both approaches end up resulting in very cool things but one maybe leaves a lil more peace and energy to tap into
