I believe @ted is directionally right here. The tech nomenclature is not helping, but also it’s not what’s holding consumer crypto back. 

People didn’t need to rename the catalytic converter to magical gases cleaning chamber for cars to be successful.

great analogy, we’ve made huge strides on infrastructure side so hopeful more founders will get to building great consumer-friendly apps
