I see many Americans don't realize the domestic consequences of Israel unilaterally starting a war against Iran. It will change the framing of the President's job for the next four years. It will change it from inward looking 'fix America' presidency to outward focused 'fighting foreign wars' presidency. The very same thing Trump spoke against many times and said he wanted to avoid. 
It will hinder the progress America was supposed to make and waste billions of dollars. China will benefit immensely from all of this, and ordinary Americans will be worse off.
