In my past life, I was a successful poet who lived much of her life in a small village, writing incessantly by the stream and whose only portal for living were the words the world conjured. My friend said this to me and I don’t know how to explain that it sparked an enormous amount of joy in me and in this moment, I believe I can conquer anything.
