EATING YOUR PROTEIN AT THE END OF YOUR MEAL IS A BAD HABIT, STOP IT!
But let me shock you it’s not a good idea at all.
The truth is this: It’s healthier to eat your protein first before you start on your rice, swallow, yam, or whatever carbs you have on your plate.
Why? eating protein first helps your body digest food better, slows down how fast your body absorbs sugar from the carbs, and keeps you fuller for longer. It also helps prevent those sugar spikes that make you sleepy after eating and craving more food an hour later.
So next time you’re eating, don’t leave that meat hanging. Start with it.
And for those of you who still threaten your kids to finish their food before touching the meat, stop it o, Let them eat their protein first. It’s good for their growth, brain, and health.
